Lawrence Achieves Renaissance Master School Status
Lawrence students and staff have worked very hard to achieve Renaissance Master School status. Teachers must implement "Best Practices" in reading and conferencing with students, goal setting, progress monitoring, and encouraging and motivating students to read. Students must maintain an accuracy of 85-90% on AR quizzes and read within their reading and interest level. They must also show improvement on pre and post STAR Reading tests. This critera must be maintained for 18 weeks to acheive Master School status, and the Lawrence Lions did it for the second year in a row!
